The BEST Permanent Brows Aftercare
This blog is all about The BEST Permanent Brows Aftercare.
Getting your brows tattooed can completely transform your look by adding shape, definition, and fullness that lasts. But beautiful brows start with proper healing. Aftercare plays a crucial role in how your pigment settles, how long it lasts, and how natural your brows will look after the initial appointment. That’s why we provide our clients with clear instructions in-studio so you can heal properly and confidently.

Avoid the following after your brow appointment:
→ Sweating heavily or working out
→ Saunas, tanning beds, pools, and steam rooms
→ Applying makeup or skincare on or near the brow area
→ Touching, picking, or scratching the brows during healing
→ Sun exposure and direct water pressure on the face
Here’s how to take care of your brows post-appointment:
Day 1 AFTER YOUR BROW TATTOOING:
Gently blot your brows every 3 hours with a clean cotton pad and water to remove any lymph buildup
Do not get your brows wet in the shower or when washing your face
Avoid any oils, lotions, or creams around the brow area
Days 2–7 AFTER YOUR BROW TATTOOING:
Do not rub, pick, or scratch your brows while they’re flaking or peeling
Let the skin naturally shed without interference to preserve pigment
Apply a very thin layer of healing balm provided at the studio once or twice daily
Avoid any activities that cause excessive sweating or moisture
What to Expect:
Your brows may appear darker or more saturated at first.
This is completely normal.
Over the next few days, the color will lighten and settle into a softer, more natural tone. You may experience flaking or light scabbing, which is part of the healing process. Following these instructions will ensure your brows retain their shape, color, and crispness beautifully.
For touch-ups or any questions about healing, our team is always here to support you.
Why Aftercare Matters for Permanent Brows
Following these instructions will help your brow tattoo heal evenly and retain its intended shape and pigment. Skipping steps or exposing your brows to water, makeup, or sun too early can lead to uneven fading, patchiness, or premature touch-ups.
