If you’re a beauty professional, having a personal brand online is important. Your brand is what helps people connect with you and your work. It’s what makes you stand out from other professionals in your field.

Having a personal brand online can help you attract new clients, build relationships with potential clients, and create a community of followers who are interested in your work. Understanding how to leverage my social media “brand” is the reason I grew my client reach and my business from a lash artist to salon suite owner! 

Why Do I Need a Personal Brand as A Beauty Business Owner?

Your personal brand is what distinguishes you from other professionals in your field. It’s what makes you unique and credible. When potential clients or employers are looking for someone to work with or hire, they’ll search for professionals with strong personal brands. That’s why it’s important to build your personal brand online and make sure it represents who you are as a professional.

So, how do you go about creating a personal brand online? In this post, we’ll discuss some tips for building your brand and ways to stay on top of trends in the beauty industry.

But before we jump into it, let’s talk about getting the best “bang for your buck” out of your beauty page on social media.

This is because Instagram is visual-based, and beauty is all about visuals. Instagram also has the capability to funnel clients to book.

You can use Instagram to share photos and videos of your work, behind-the-scenes content, tips and tutorials, product recommendations, and more.

A Personal Brand is… Personal! Share YOUR Stories.

The best way to build your personal brand on Instagram is to share personal stories and experiences. Remember to do this while being true to yourself and letting your personality shine. This helps humanize you and make you more relatable to your audience. When people feel like they know you, they’re more likely to trust you and want to work with you.

It’s also important to be active on other social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This way, you can reach a wider audience and build relationships with potential clients and followers on multiple platforms. Facebook owns Instagram and you are able to enable automatic posting from your Instagram to your business Facebook page which doubles your potential for reach while saving time!
